ALBANY, NY –THURSDAY, JULY 24th

We will depart from the Seneca Falls Community Center at 7:45AM with a coffee stop en route.  At 11:15AM meet at the Albany Visitors Center to board the Albany Trolley.  Arrive at Ristorante Paradiso at 11:30AM for an appetizer.  We will depart for the Italian American Community Center at 12:30PM with a choice of entrée.  At 1:30PM we are off to Lombardo’s for dessert.  At 2:30PM hop aboard the amphibious vehicles of the Albany Aqua Ducks for a 75 minute narrated sightseeing tour.  Depart for home at 4:30PM  with a stop at Grandma’s Country Pies.  Estimated arrival time 8:15PM.


THE SAGAMORE RESORT

We will depart from the Seneca Falls Community Center at 7:00AM with a coffee stop en route.  Upon arrival approx 11:30AM we will tour the Sagamore Resort situated in the Adirondack Mountains.  At 12:30PM, enjoy the Sagamore lunch buffet (included) with your choice of an entrée, soup, salad, dessert, coffee & tea service.  We will meet our Tour Guide at 2:15PM for the rest of the afternoon.  On the agenda is a tour to Lake George, admission to Prospect Mountain and heading down to Saratoga to tour and taste the waters.  We will depart for home at 4:15PM with an estimated arrival at 8:30PM.

We will depart from the Seneca Falls Community Center at 9:00am with a coffee stop en route. Estimated arrival time is 11:00am.  Enjoy free time at the 33rd Annual Arts & Crafts Festival.  Over 300 vendors from throughout the US and Canada display only the best in fine pottery, paintings, quilts and fiber arts, handcrafted jewelry, photography, furniture, decorative painting, dried floral pieces and more. Lunch is included at the Glen Iris Inn. Estimated arrival time home is 7:00pm.

THE GREAT JACK O’LANTERN BLAZE
October 18th, Cost: $139.00

We will depart from the Seneca Falls Community Center at 8:00AM with a coffee stop en route.  Estimated arrival time in Tarrytown, NY is 1:00PM with lunch on your own in Sleepy Hollow.  At 2:30PM tour The Old Dutch Church which is the 7th Oldest Church in North America, Phillipsburg Manor, a working farm and grist mill and the heart of Sleepy Hollow Country with costumed guides and a museum shop.  Dinner is included at the Sunsetcove.  At 6:30PM on to The Blaze (Hudson Valley’s most exciting Halloween event!) features more than 4,000 individually hand carved illuminated pumpkins. Depart for home at 7:30PM with an estimated arrival time of 12:30AM.

PACKAGE INCLUDES:

Spend time shopping in NYC or see a show on your own if you are not attending Grease.  The Broadway Show Grease is only taking ticket orders up to June 2008.  Not available at this time.  The show will be at the Brooks Atkinson Theater, Sunday, December 7th at 2:00PM.  When making your reservation for this trip please let me know if you will be attending.  Once we have confirmation of the ticket price I will let you know.  Tickets are Non-Refundable.

FITNESS ROOM ADVISOR

The Seneca Falls Community Center announces the addition of a Fitness Room Advisor to its part-time staff. The position was added to give the many residents who use the Community Center's Fitness Room a better opportunity to custom fit their work-outs to their personal needs.

Mr. Corky DeYulio joined our staff as Fitness Room Advisor. Mr. DeYulio is a Certified Personal Trainer with many years experience in the fitness field.

He has a Masters Degree in Physical Education from Syracuse University and is currently a Recreation Teacher and Fitness Coordinator at Five Points Correctional Facility as well as a Phys Ed teacher here in the Finger Lakes.

He has significant experience in the use of the Weight Machine and Cardiovascular equipment that the Community Center offers. He has Fifteen years experience in Physical Education and Personal Training and looks forward to joining us here at the Seneca Falls Community Center.

Corky will be available to help residents with the following:

· Proper use of fitness equipment

· Set-up of personal training/life fitness program

· Set-up of weight loss/maintenance program

· Dietary advice

· Other fitness issues/programs

Mr. DeYulio will be posting hours of availability each week at the Community Center for those who seek his help and advice. The hours will vary according to his schedule but will include, at times, both weekday and weeknight hours as well as Saturday mornings. To meet with him by appointment, please feel free to call him at 789-1382.
