Rotary's flagship program is its effort to protect children against polio, with the goal of ending the disease throughout the world.  In 2005, Rotary International celebrated its 100th anniversary in Chicago, Illinois: the location of the first Rotary meeting in 1905.

Adopted by Rotary in 1943, The Four-Way Test has been translated into more than a hundred languages and published in thousands of ways. It asks the following four questions:

"Of the things we think, say or do:
             Is it the TRUTH?
Is it FAIR to all concerned?
Will it build GOODWILL and BETTER FRIENDSHIPS?
Will it be BENEFICIAL to all concerned?"

In 1922, 28 Charter members founded the Seneca Falls Rotary Club.   Presently the club has 54 members (44 men and 10 women), 31 honorary Rotarians and 124 Paul Harris Fellows.
