JOB: Wastewater / Water Treatment Plant Operator

John has worked for the Village of Seneca Falls Water and Sewer Department for 16 years. Prior to coming to the Village of Seneca Falls, John worked for the Village of Waterloo Water Department for 4 years. John is a NYS certified grade 3A wastewater treatment plant operator, a NYS certified IIA water treatment plant operator and a grade D water distribution system operator.

John's current responsibilities include the operation and maintenance of the wastewater treatment plant, sewage pumping stations and the Bridgeport Sewer District. His position requires a variety of skills including plumbing, electrical, hydraulics, mechanical systems, biology and chemistry skills. With these skills, John helps provide safe drinking water, protection of the environment and most importantly to the customers, a continuous source of essential services.

John lives in Seneca Falls with his wife Kimberly and his daughter Sierra.
