Mary L. Sloan has been an employee of the Town of Seneca Falls for 18
years, intially as the Deputy Town Clerk and currently as the RPTS Aide in
the Assessment Office for the last 6 years.
Mary Lou's primary functions include facilitating the multiple exemptions
that are available to property owners and assisting the Assessor in

5% some may not meet the eligibility requirements). The Assessment Office
currently maintains 685 Enhanced STAR exemptions, 1639 Basic STAR

as Disability exemptions for the residents of Seneca Falls. Mary Lou
strives towards public awareness of the various exemptions that are
available to them through the Assessment Office.

Computer, Assessment and Exemption related courses and seminars through
Finger Lakes Community College, the Seneca County Office of Real Property
Services, the New York State Office of Real Property Services and the New
York State Assessors' Association, of which
she is a member.
